Four Tips to Create Fridge Functionality

This month we are here to share our favorite tips for making your fridge functional and simple! Having a system in your fridge (or any space) will help make things run smoother during high-stress times such as unloading/putting away groceries, meal prep, and meal times. Check out the four tips we have below…you can thank us later ;)

If you are a lover of all things fruits and vegetables, then we suggest creating a drawer that is specifically for your fruits & veggies!

Creating a “zone” simplifies your fridge and eventually your brain and body will automatically know where things are or go. And as always, add that label so you never forget to eat your veggies!

Just like anything else — check expiration dates regularly! Our organizers would say that this is most important when trying to organize this space.

Pick a day of the week, like Sunday, to clean out your fridge. This will help maintain the clutter in this space. Any day will work!

Side Note: Meal prep days are great for this!

Snack bin?? Yes please! If you have kiddos or are always on the go, then having a snack bin is a necessity. Having this dedicated spot for your go-to snacks will help you get out the door quicker or make it easier for your littles to find what they are wanting after school!

We are going to go against the grain on this tip, but hang tight because it is a game changer!

Ever think to add a turntable at the top of your fridge for your condiments and smaller bottles? If not, then this is your ticket to taking your fridge to the next level!

Use the side door of your fridge for milk and creamer as those are the products you use on a daily basis. Doing this will keep the items you use daily from getting shoved to the back of the shelf!

Adding the turntable for condiments, bottles, etc. will declutter your doors and make everything easier to find for everyone!
