HAPPY HALLOWEEN
ORGANIZING THE ~SCARY~ SPACES IN YOUR HOME
Hey guys and ghouls! With Halloween and the holidays right around the corner, we thought this was the perfect time to talk about those ScArY spaces in your home that may need some TLC. Areas like that junk drawer in your kitchen or under your bathroom sink can seem like a place where a little gremlin may live, but we are going to give you some quick tips and products to get rid of those cobwebs and tidy your spaces in no time!
Letβs start with that junk drawer that has pizza coupons from 2019 and a hundred pens that no longer write!
Tip #1: Keep only the items you know you need!
Junk drawer? How about the βessentials onlyβ drawer?!
Start by getting rid of the things you have never and will never use. Old coupons, junk mail, and that one paperclip can all be tossed out to make a neater area for the things you really need. Find a new and permanent home for items that are used only on occasion. Items like extra charging cords and the gift wrapping tape you forgot to put away last year can easily be re-homed. This will give you a more simplified space to keep the things that you need access to readily available!
Check out the Home Editβs acrylic bins for dividing the items in your Essentials Only drawer. Tired of having to tidy up this space every time you open the drawer? These acrylic bins will help keep your items grouped together in a way that makes sense and lasts!
Donβt be scared to look under your bathroom sink anymore! We have the perfect way to organize the things you use every day and the things you may only need on occasion!
Tip #2: Use stackable bins to utilize all space available.
When organizing underneath your bathroom sink, stack two drawer bins on top of each other to use up all the vertical space. This space can easily be forgotten. If your bathroom is low on room or if youβre one of those people that try every new facial serumβ¦then this is for you!
You can find a clear drawer bin like this one at your local Container Store or online. These drawers are great for hair products, back stock items, travel size toiletries, and much more! This is such a great product for so many spaces, but the fact that they are stackable makes them that much better.
Donβt let those cobwebs in your garage spook you! Check out this last quick tip and our favorite product for making sure your garage is nice and neat.
Tip #3: Hang it up!
Your garage has a ton of wall space that you probably are not using! Garage items such as bikes, strollers, or large yard tools can all be hung on the walls in many different ways. This gets things off the ground and frees up shelf space. With this tip, your garage will be in TIP-top shape!
Aside from hanging garage items, we also love these clear containers from The Container Store. By using these containers, you can have a sneak peek at what is stored inside them. You can also stack them on a shelf to utilize all space available. These are a must-have for any garage!
